We analyse the conservation laws associated to large gauge transformations ofmassless fields in Minkowski space. Our aim is to highlight the interplaybetween boundary conditions and finiteness of the asymptotically conservedcharges in any space-time dimension, both even and odd, greater than or equalto three. After discussing non-linear Yang-Mills theory and revisitinglinearised gravity, our investigation extends to cover the infrared behaviourof bosonic massless quanta of any spin.
